2. Using your booking reference

Find your booking reference in the booking confirmation email and enter this reference in either the Aer Lingus app or on aerlingus.com.

Your booking reference will be six characters long and start with a '2,' e.g., 2BX25J.

Follow the instructions to easily manage your seat selection, add carry-on or extra bags and select other additional options.

4. Save your boarding pass

If you want a printed copy (though it is not necessary), go to Manage Trip on the website, click "View Boarding Pass as PDF" and print it. Our digital boarding passes are accepted throughout your journey, from security to boarding.

5. What if you have bags?

If you have bags, here are your options.

  • If you are travelling with just your included 10kg carry-on bag (7kg regional flights operated by Emerald Airlines) you can go straight to security.
  • If you need to check bags, use a self-service kiosk to drop them off and avoid queues. Alternatively, you can go to a check-in desk, but be mindful of the waiting times.

3. What if you have bags?

Here are your two options for what to do with your bags after you’ve checked in online and received your boarding pass.

  • If you are travelling with just your included 10kg carry-on bag (7kg regional flights operated by Emerald Airlines) you can go straight to security.
  • If you need to check bags, use a self-service kiosk to drop them off and avoid queues. Alternatively, you can go to a check-in desk, but be mindful of the waiting times.

If you can't get your boarding pass, please go to the check-in desk at the airport.

  • Your booking reference will be on your confirmation email, sent shortly after booking.
  • Log in to your Aer Lingus account and view your upcoming and past trips. Your booking reference will be highlighted.
  • For bookings made through a third party (e.g., travel agent, online agency, or other airline), please contact them directly.
